Glad to see my 8 mile hike with Matt, some friends, and our girls strapped to our backs has inspired you to do something fun. You take great pictures, and it's good to see you and Jobie doing something together too. You have a lot in common.
Jobie especially wanted the unicorn. I was also looking for a little pixie or fairy of some sort, but couldn't find one in my google search last night. It looked so ethereal with the water slowed down like that.....so pretty. If you guys are ever up here in good weather, we should definitely go here. It is a short hike, very easy, very family friendly. There are areas with big pools of water that are only a foot deep, perfect for little kids. There were tons of 3-5 year olds, and some families with babies, one only a month or so old, guessing by the size. Really nice, and you can walk up or down the creek to find a more secluded area to hang out and picnic at. And the bugs were not around at all when we were there.
We are looking to purchase our next, much larger abode in January (or at least we will start looking then), at which time we will have, shall we say, more spacious accommodations to offer. The identical unit next door to us just sold for $165k, another one with only 1.5 bathrooms and 100 less square feet is on the market for $192K, and another is hoping to get over $200k, so we are hoping to find a lovely house for $350K or less, move in, rip out the carpets, repaint this place, spiff it up to boost the price, then sell it for all we can get and refinance the new house and pay down that mortgage. Loveliness. Then, we can have kids. It is all decided. THis time next year, we will be ready.

That would be so fun! Maybe next spring, when Rae is a seasoned walker.. we can come up and spend a long weekend there. That would be such fun!
