So cute! We were going to do kitties for Christmas.... but I think it's a no now. Steve's allergies... and I can't promise they won't end up inside kitties..... such a bummer. Morgan would LOVE to have one.
We do plan on adding one more kittie eventually. Maybe sometime next year. It would be great for Boo to have a buddy, and Shadow would have someone else to boss around.
My only requirement is that they must be odd (physically--I cannot take another emotional/mental issue kitty like Boo--we love him but it is so much harder to love him than Shadow). We want some sort of kinky tail or extra toes or something funky. Any color, but it's gotta be a kitten, and we have to do it when I have some time off for a few days so we can make sure Shadow doesn't eat it (kidding...), we plan to NOT put claw covers on the new kitten for a month or so, so if the other cats beat up on him, he has some real weapons to protect himself.
Really, though, there will be some sniffing and testing, but Shadow will be his loving older brother and bathe him and nap with him and be great, and Boo will hang out with him and play with him and they will all live happily ever after.....
So........ If I happen to run into an odd-ball kitten I should call you? Because with all my trailer-ish in-laws ( saddly there are many ) there are many a helpless kitten available come spring time....
No. If you donate me another cat, I swear to god.......
We will get a kitten from the shelter. All the shots, vaccines, etc, and they will 'fix' them, too. I have too many memories of the kittens we had in Crane who ended up dying of who knows what.
