Cluny Museum

At this point, we were pretty hungry, so we found a nearby eatery and had crepes and omelettes. And warm milk with vanilla in it for me--really hit the spot after our chilly climb.

Once we were fully fed, we walked around the backside of Notre Dame, then crossed the river over to the Left Bank area. We made our way into the Cluny museum--home of the Lady and the Unicorn tapestries. We also came across the heads that had been removed from many of the statues of Notre Dame (buried in the backyard of a teacher who had rescued them once they were decapitated, found centuries later), and some original stained glass from St Chapelle. A cool museum in a very old building (looks like ruins from the outside).
