From the sanctuary, we wandered the streets of Rome, taking pictures and talking with no real plans. It was very sunny as we headed toward dusk, but clouds soon rolled back in and a heavy downpour started up, which continued through the night. This was supposed to be the driest month of the year for Rome, but we certainly caught a lot of rain!
