So much has happened since that last blog post....
Ethan and I went on a 30km bike ride through the canals and windmills outside of Amsterdam with picture perfect weather; we got bitten by what must be super-sized mosquitos, since the welts left behind are bigger than a quarter and massively itchy; we wandered through Queen's Day celebrations across Amsterdam, and were absolutely blown away by the sheer size of the celebrations....then we took a high-speed train to Paris yesterday (Saturday), where we visited the church of Sacre Coeur (massive) and took a bike ride through the city, followed by a cruise up and down the Seine river.
On the docket for today? Lots of museums, the Arc de Triomphe, and tonight will cap off with the Eiffel Tower (8pm our time, 11am your time--we got reservations to skip that massive line)
