We got up this morning and headed over to the Yellow Bike tour company’s offices. There, we met up with the exact same guide who took Ethan and Tobias on their tour back in 2006. The tour is a bit changed now (30km instead of 40km), but was still awesome. We biked out of the city, taking a ferry to the north and following canals through teeny towns and pastures. The towns were all decorated in orange streamers and flags for the upcoming Queen’s Day. We saw windmills and cows and sheep and the quaintest little villages tucked in amongst the canals. So very, very peaceful.
